This International Literacy Day,
stock a child's bookshelf.

At Reading Partners, every tutoring session ends the same way: a child chooses a book to take home and keep. For some, it’s the first books they’ve ever owned.

A monthly gift stocks books year-round.

About Reading Partners

A 25-year track record.
Founded in 1999 in East Menlo Park, California, Reading Partners started when three community members recruited neighbors and volunteers to sit beside struggling readers, one on one. That same belief, that every child deserves a caring adult and the right support to become a reader, now powers a national program across 8 regions and 40+ school districts.

The proof is in the results.
This year, 82% of our students met or exceeded their individualized reading growth goals, and we reached more than 177,000 students and families nationwide. We believe reading is a civil right and every gift brings that closer to true for one more child.
